Commonly known as China Nerin, the company originated from Nanchang Engineering and Research Institute of Nonferrous Metals, which was founded in 1957. It was one of the eight top-tier design institutes under the former Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, specializing in providing engineering design and consulting services for domestic and international clients in the nonferrous metals industry. China Nerin boasts strong technical expertise, competitive advantages, and brand influence, especially in copper smelting project design, where it holds a leading position within the industry.
China Nerin employs over 1,800 technical professionals, including one academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, three national-level design masters, and twelve design masters in the nonferrous metal industry. The company holds many core technologies and is one of the founding organizations of the national engineering technology center for copper smelting and processing. It operates a postdoctoral research station and seven provincial-level engineering technology centers. China Nerin has led the drafting of 20 national and industry standards and specifications, owns more than 500 patented technologies, and has received over 1,000 awards, including one First Prize and seven Second Prizes of the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award.
